Chimney Repairs
Chimney repointing, rebuilds, lead flashing renewal and full chimney removal — done safely on scaffold.
What's involved
Chimneys are usually the most exposed part of any roof and the first thing to fail. We repoint cracked mortar joints, rebuild the top courses where bricks have spalled, renew lead flashings and aprons, and — when the chimney is no longer used — remove it cleanly back to roof level with the slates or tiles made good above.
What's included
- Full scaffold or chimney scaffold
- Repointing in lime or cement mortar to match
- Brick rebuild of top courses where spalled
- New code 4 lead flashings, soakers and apron
- New chimney cap or pot fitted
- Optional full removal back to roof level
Materials we use
- Lime and cement mortars colour-matched
- Reclaimed and new bricks

Typical duration
2–5 days depending on whether a rebuild or removal is needed.
