Slate Roofing
Natural slate re-roofs and repairs — Welsh, Spanish and reclaimed Westmorland slate, fixed traditionally.
What's involved
Slate is the right answer for almost every period property in Lancashire — and most failures are nail failures, not slate failures. We strip carefully, salvage every reusable slate, fit new copper or stainless nails to a counter-batten and breathable underlay, and re-cover with matched natural slate. Where conservation requires it, we source reclaimed slate to match.
