Industrial Roofing

Industrial, warehouse and factory roof installations and refurbishments — profiled metal, cladding, gutter-line repairs and rooflight renewal.

What's involved

Industrial roofing is a different discipline from domestic flat-roof work — the spans are bigger, the falls are shallower, and the failure points are almost always the gutter line, the laps and the rooflights rather than the sheet itself. We over-clad failing profiled metal roofs, replace cracked GRP rooflights, re-line valley gutters with single-ply, and survey asbestos cement sheet properly before any work starts. Every project is delivered with full RAMS, written method statements and out-of-hours options to keep production running.

What's included

  • Pre-works inspection with thermal and rooflight survey
  • Asbestos sheet identification and HSE-compliant handling
  • Profiled metal over-cladding and full sheet replacement
  • Valley and box-gutter re-lining in single-ply membrane
  • GRP rooflight replacement to current Class 3 non-fragile rating
  • Full RAMS, method statements and out-of-hours working

Materials we use

  • Kingspan and Tata insulated panels
  • Single-ply membranes for gutter lining
  • Class 3 non-fragile GRP rooflights
  • Profiled steel and aluminium cladding
  • Butyl lap sealants and EPDM gaskets

Typical duration

1–6 weeks depending on roof area and scope; planned maintenance visits typically a half day per unit.

What shapes the price

  • Asbestos survey results and removal
  • Out-of-hours / weekend premium
  • Insulation upgrade specification
  • Access — MEWP, edge protection or scaffold
